The Book Of Knowledge: Keys of Enoch $50.00
The Book of Enoch is an ancient and mystical text that describes the history of the early races of humanity, the Mysteries of Initiation in veiled symbols, and a very few modern-day prophecies. It is also known as the Book of the Seer. The biblical Enoch or Hanoch, was the father of Methuselah traditionally, as well as an allegory for an Adept of the Secret Wisdom. Enoch is known as Enochion in Greek mythology and Idris in the Koran.
I was surprised when reading Revelation and the Book of Enoch to see scores of parallel symbols. These symbols include major and minor ones, and are amazingly similar in both books. The similarities start with the origin of the books. They each begin with an Archangel guiding the writers through their visionary dreams. Here are the symbols by groups.
Number symbols- 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and its multiples, 10 and its multiples, 12 and its multiples, and 365.
Astronomical symbols-the four cardinal directions, stars, stars falling from heaven, sun and moon cycles including eclipses, a sign in the heavens, unusual celestial phenomena, and constellations.
Metal and mineral symbols-gold, silver, iron, sulfer, stones like glass, minerals around the throne of God, crystals of the New Jerusalem, walls and roads of crystal, scepters of power, female adornments, and various precious and semi-precious stones.
Early Christian symbols-the good shepherd, sheep, lambs, blood, the righteous in white robes, the good rewarded and the evil punished at Judgement Day, Lord of Lords, atonement of sins, the washing away of sins, and salvation for the pure and honorable souls.
The Book of Enoch is of great antiquity, and was highly respected by the ancients. The Ethiopian copy was discovered in 1773 by the Scottish explorer James Bruce, and interpreted by Archbishop Richard Lawrence in 1821.
