It is becoming more frequent that businesses and companies ask for reviews or feedback of their products and services. A negative review can be damaging and sometimes it can be suspect as it could be by a competitor. Constructive criticism can be helpful, but I like to do that in person rather than writing one because it can still negatively impact the business. Doing a positive review for the sake of doing a review with no comments for the rating will soon be forgotten. Writing a review and then specifically writing how the worker went above and beyond will exponentially influence the amount of positive energy that is generated.
When you write a review for a self-owned business or a very small business you are showing respect for that individual who gave you special treatment. It will also help their business with the more reviews that they get. But most importantly, you will form a bond with that person which may lead to a lifelong friendship. This kinship is positive energy that will help spread light into the community.
When you do this for a large corporation and specifically identify the employee and what they did for you, it will have a huge impact on more than just the people involved. Let me explain. When you see a member of a company go out of their way to help you and treats you with consideration, that alone makes you feel good and the positive energy begins to flow. You then give feedback in a review and articulate exactly why you’re giving the highest rating and name the person. You then feel good about the review because you’re paying back the kindness that was given to you. Then at the department meeting, when the employee is singled out for their extraordinary effort, that makes him or her feel good and the positive energy is now growing. The manager feels good that a member on his or her team gave a good representation of the department and the company. Other team members see that, and it encourages them to follow this example especially if the recognized teammate is rewarded. This acknowledgement can lead to improved customer service which will greatly impact the bottom line and greater benevolence in the community.
This situation is helping spread the light that is seen by everyone. Goodwill towards others now is manifesting to create a nicer world. All of this because you took a few minutes to write a positive review for a moment of kindness.
To the left is an example of a QR Code that takes you to a place that is popular for leaving reviews. It is just an example and doesn’t mean you have to leave a review.
