Shining Lotus™ Metaphysical Bookstore has the largest inventory of used, out of print, and rare metaphysical books in Colorado. We maintain our inventory by constantly searching for used books in good condition.
Typically, we are interested in used books in good condition on the following subjects: Astrology, Buddhism, Hinduism, Sufism, Taoism, Contemporary Spirituality, Reiki, Yoga, Chakras, Auras, Crystals, Divination, Mythology, Grail, Alternative Christianity, Theosophy, Shamanism, Wicca and Paganism.
We do not buy health or fiction, and we do not buy former library books.
We also buy used Tarot and oracle card decks. We count every deck to make sure all of the cards are present.
Price depends on many factors, including our current stock, whether the book has markings or highlighting, and whether our customers have shown an interest in the subject matter. Because we want you to bring your books to us, we pay more than our competitors. Other stores pay only 10 cents or 50 cents per book, while we typically pay $2 or $3 each for books in good condition.
No phone calls, please. We cannot give you an estimate over the phone. We must see the books in order to evaluate their condition and availability.
Bring your books to the store during business hours (10-6, every day). If you are selling an estate with 300 books or more, contact the store to make special arrangements.
