SE Doyle, author of Kiva and The Stone Nation
SE Doyle presents Kiva & The Stone Nation, which tells the story of a young girl who struggles with her destiny as the granddaughter of a shape-shifting shaman. She encounters living stones, greedy corporations, mis-guided friends and classmates on her way to finding her way in a wonderous new world. A fantasy novel for children, 9 – 12. A book signing followed her talk.
SE Doyle was inspired to write the middle grade novel Kiva & the Stone Nation after stumbling upon an incredible stone formation on her ranch in the mountains of southern Colorado a few years back. Since she was a small child she has considered writing one of her great passions She is an avid adventurer and has worked in Kazakhstan, traveled to numerous foreign countries and has swam with the wild dolphins in Bimini 4 times. Her next adventure is to swim with the humpback whales, April 2015. When not traveling she splits her time between Colorado in the summer and Florida in the winter where she also works as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
