One of the hardest lessons to accept is that – for the most part, but not always – people do not learn unless they create major discomfort for themselves. Imagine this – if your Life is idyllic, perfect in every sense, rich and abundant…then there is absolutely NO reason to change it…after all, how much better could it get.
So, what happens now – you have to ‘protect’ that which is yours…didn’t you [or your parents] work hard to get here…don’t you deserve to reap your just rewards…and doesn’t that make you – somehow – ‘special’… let’s be frank: aren’t you now different than the ‘unwashed peons’ out there…?
Well, there are many who think this way…but is it right…? or are they forgetting something…? Yep, there’s this little thing called ‘Change’… just saying…
Haven’t we learned that NOTHING ever remains the same…heck, even our bodies don’t stand still [no matter how much Botox, or Viagra we take…well, it’s just not the same as ‘youth’ !] Now don’t get me wrong – I have nothing against those who wish for a little injection here and there… or the occasional pill – you know, just for the fun of it… but… never fool yourself that you are recapturing your past prowess… ’cause that ship has sailed, so just accept it, and move on…
So, what’s that got to do with our current situation…? In case you haven’t noticed, we are currently going through MAJOR changes… nothing – and I mean nothing – is going to stay the same.. All you have to do is look at how fast technology is developing – from smart phones to smarter houses, to drone deliveries and self-driven cars, to virtual reality and artificial intelligence… and whatever else the future has in store for us… I’ll tell you this: “It’s greater than you can imagine !”
Now – what do you think those old fashioned ‘entitled’ people are going to do…? Yep, you got it – they’ll kick, and scream, punch and shove, resist as much as possible… and even tell you that it’s all ‘fake’, that the old ways are the best [and certainly will paint a pretty picture, with cute little meadows, and a perfect family living off the land… just don’t look too closely at the pollution, artificial food production, and – dare I say it – genetic manipulation and the rise of diseases…]
Oh, they’ll tell you that it’s not their fault…that they didn’t do this…that it’s those ‘unwashed peons’ with their bad lifestyles that are doing this to themselves… after all, they’ve never cared, so why should they do it now. And with all this Darkness will come more lies, more arrogance, more disorder, more ‘entitled abuse’… but do not worry, do not fear, do not despair…here’s a little forgotten ‘secret’: “Those who fail to learn from history, are bound to repeat it…” [ever heard of the French Revolution …?!]
So, here we are – at the very crossroads of Change – great, wonderful, irresistible, glorious Change !…and you can either be progressive, look forward to a better, greater, New World…or be dragged along… I can assure you – Life will not EVER stay the same !
