We begin 2023 with Mercury retrograde in Capricorn and Mars retrograde in Gemini. Even though Jupiter is in Aries we would be wise to not be in a hurry to make major decisions and take action on moving forward until Mars goes direct on Thursday, January 12th and Mercury goes direct on Wednesday, January 18th. The advice is to pause, reflect, breathe deeply and carefully contemplate your decisions and actions so you can experience the best results.
Plans and strategies may need to be changed several times before we can move forward without problems or resistance. We may notice a significant shift energetically when the Sun enters Aquarius on Friday, January 20th and the New Moon occurs in Aquarius on Saturday, January 21st.
Prior to these changes in direction for Mercury and Mars, Venus will enter Aquarius on Monday, January 2nd. This event will signal new ways of experiencing our relationships which will support healthy autonomy and loving detachment.
A Full Moon in Cancer on Friday, January 6th amplifies our awareness of home and family. Personal issues of emotional and financial security are likely to be intensified.
Clarity about the activity and action to take will occur on or soon after Mars goes direct in Gemini on Thursday, January 12th.
