Friday, February 11, 2022 early in the morning:
Denver Spiritual Astrologer Gayle Bachicha passed into the next world from her home in Denver.
Born N. Gayle Allred on May 11, 1941 in Washington, D.C., she early on realized and totally embraced her six planets in Taurus. Gayle grew into a real cowgirl with her musical parents on the ranch in Roswell, New Mexico, then moved to Denver to try out Veterinary school. Around 1958, she became Christopher Bachicha’s mom and remained a loving, devoted parent until his sudden passing in 2020 at his home in Ruidoso, New Mexico.
She owned and operated Tickerwick Publications, publishing her own book, Pocket Dictionary of Astrology in 1994, and also owned Jacob’s Ladder Bookstore on East Colfax Avenue in Denver. She also worked as a reader at the Metaphysical Bookstore on East Colfax for many years, teaching classes in Metaphysics and Astrology at the store. Later, she worked in sales with the Shining Lotus.
As a part of the Shining Lotus family for 12 years and the Metaphysical Bookstore family for more than 30 years before that, she was a very valuable, and humble member of the Denver Astrology community. Hundreds of students and thousands of astrology consulting clients have been taught, helped, guided, and loved by Gayle over the years.
Her life is joyfully celebrated by the remarkable, unselfish, caring circle of friends who have stepped up to care for her daily needs in the last few years. Their love, patience, and compassion is unparalleled, and their efforts to help make Gayle’s last years more tolerable will never be rewarded enough.
“I am so sorry for your loss. I remember so vividly one day I left my car keys in my car and how she helped me. Always kind and loving and very quiet.”

“So sad to read this! Gayle was always so warm and kind to me. She had a calming presence and voice and always sensed what one may be in search of at any moment to heal their life. She really was the first encounter any person experience upon entering your wonderful magical shop. Blessings of love and light and strength and joy and peace to you both and in her memory. Peace & Love.”
