Sometimes the biggest obstacles to manifesting what we want are the limits that we place on ourselves. They arise either through society, our parents, our religion, or our education. We are made to believe that we are not worthy, or it is not possible for us to get what we desire, or that it is sinful to ask for money. The left brain, which is solely based on rational thinking, uses these beliefs to govern what we can or cannot do. Some people will overcome these obstacles with hard work and desire. It is called a can-do attitude. Then sometimes out of spite to critics, we will demonstrate that we will succeed.
During my career I would say that the word “can’t” is not in my vocabulary and that I will make it work. But it is innovative people like Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein and other scientists and inventors that enable progress to be made by using their imagination. Their imagination, which comes from the right brain facilitates ideas that become reality. People who “think outside the box” will cause new paradigms to happen. Then there are those who say, “what box” and are regarded as way out there and eccentric. Einstein is widely quoted as saying, “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift, and the rational mind is a faithful servant.”
That’s all fine for careers, but what about health and prosperity. Most people will just accept what the medical establishment will tell them, or they will accept ailments as part of the aging process. Some will never increase their income because they believe that that’s what they’re destined to earn. Dinshah Ghadiali was persecuted by the AMA because he showed that color could be used for healing even though Dr. Kate W. Baldwin verified that she used it at her hospital. Then, there’s the woman who worked for Jose Silva and used his mind control method to win every contest that she entered. Jake Ducey has several videos on how to manifest wealth. One of the techniques he uses is a free video on hypnosis. So, the key to overcome these obstacles is to use an altered state of consciousness such as meditation, dreams, or hypnosis. We need to convince our subconscious mind that these limits don’t exist. Reagan Hillyer from Mind Valley also didn’t allow any obstacles to prevent her from making several million dollars from different corporations that she started. The only problem is that these programs cost lots of money. There are some free online videos that talk about using affirmations like:
“I am blessed.”
“I am successful.”
“The universe adores me.”
“I am a money magnet.”
Another group of simple affirmations mentioned are:
“I allow.”
“I deserve.”
“I accept.”
The point of using these affirmations is to be in an altered state of consciousness when using them so that the subconscious mind will use them to overcome our self-inflicted limits.
Of all of the ways to overcome the limits we place on ourselves; my favorite is using Dr. Richard Bartlett’s techniques. He is the author and creator of Matrix Energetics. He uses the two-point method in which he sets the intention with one hand and then connects to another point with his other hand. He then drops down into meditative state and releases. One of the amazing stories was that he and other person were sending distance energy to a woman that had cancer. There were spots on the X-ray, and she wasn’t given much of a chance. Not only did she recover, but the spots on the original X-Ray disappeared. There are probably lots of people who will believe that this did not happen. This is due to their self-limitations. He also uses toy action figures to manipulate parts of the body. It reminded me of voodoo, but in a good way for healing. I met with my friend in which we discussed different methods of holistic healing. I took an action figure that we use for grandchildren. When I touched the back of the neck of the action figure, my friend’s head immediately went down, and he broke out into laughter, which often happens at Dr Bartlett’s seminars. My friend mentioned to me that the way it works is to set the intention, drop down and let go. Somehow, I did that in order for his head to drop. Now if I could only repeat that without paying attention to my limits.
