The Book of Ho'oponoponoMy friend told me about Ho’oponopono which is a Hawaiian expression which means to make things right. The way to do that is to say:

“I’m Sorry

Please Forgive Me.

Thank You.

I Love You”.

You can also put “I love You” at the beginning. You can do that for yourself or for your relationships with others. It will help you heal and will improve your life when you say this to yourself. Healing will also take place when you do it for others as well, and they don’t have to be present.

I’ve been doing this when I remember personal and professional conflicts that I have had in my life. I think of the situation, but this time I view it from their point of view and see where they are coming from. I then say the four lines and then release it. It does make me feel a lot better. It reminds me of Gary Craig’s book called “The Unseen Therapist” where he says that the pain and the diseases that we have, are from negative emotions that we’ve had in the past like anger, sadness, fear, or guilt. The process is described completely in his free eBook where we use the Unseen Therapist, who is actually our Divine Self, to heal our ailment. Gary Craig was the original founder of the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or tapping. He says that this new technique is even better because it addresses the cause rather than the symptoms.

Doing Ho’oponopono or using the Unseen Therapist will help to create oneness and that has been the core of many religions. One of my favorite songs from the 60’s was “Get Together” by the Youngbloods. When I would visit my mother on Sundays in the nursing home, the activities director would gather some of the patients for readings, or to sing or listen to hymns. The director would ask the group for a hymn that they knew, and she would look it up on her computer that was hooked up to a large monitor on a cart. Once she asked me if there was something that I wanted to listen to, and I said, “’Get Together’ by the Youngbloods”. She kind of raised her eye at me but used Google to look it up and played it. Much to her surprise, the group really liked it, and others nearby came by to listen. I told her “If that isn’t Jesus Christ”, I don’t know what is.

Our pastor made a couple of profound statements that got everyone to think. He said that we love God as much as those that we love the least. And do we pray for the demise of those that we disagree with, or do we pray for their conversion. “Namaste” is a word that we use in yoga at the end of class to respectfully honor each other. Just think if everyone had that word in their head for everyone that they encounter. It seems like I’m hearing the same message from several different sources. I accuse my teacher in my class that he and the pastor must talk to each other. He says that they have same guides that are speaking to them. It then occurred to me that if we are all children of God, then we should like it.

We begin the month of March with the Sun in Pisces and the Moon in Cancer. Pisces and Cancer are both water signs. Water symbolizes feeling and emotion. This theme of feeling and emotion continues as the planet Mercury enters the sign of Pisces on Thursday, March 2nd. Mercury symbolizes how we think and process information. Pisces is ruled by Neptune so Mercury in Pisces is akin to a conjunction of Mercury and Neptune.

The time period while Mercury is in Pisces suggests a time of enhanced intuition and spiritual guidance. However not everyone will be utilizing the Pisces energy in a positive way. Con artists and scammers can use the dark side of Pisces and Neptune to deceive others. Beware those people who make false promises and lack integrity. Their motivations are only for their own self-interest.

Neptune and Pisces are symbolic of energies of a spiritual nature that help and support the best interests of others. The higher expression of Neptune and Pisces is compassion and unconditional love.

Full Moon over WaterSaturn will be joining the Pisces party on Tuesday, March 7th. Business goals that help and heal others are likely to offer the most emotional and spiritual fulfillment while Saturn is in Pisces.

March 7th is also the date of the Full Moon in Virgo.  Virgo is a sign of service and wellness. The greatest benefit will be experienced by people who are in service to the health and well-being of others.

The discussion of opportunities and projects will be enhanced by Mars in Gemini in positive aspect to Venus in Aries in the first two weeks of March.

Honesty and authenticity in our actions and motivations is encouraged by Jupiter in the sign of Aries during the months of March and April.

Care should be taken not to be overly idealistic at the Last Quarter Phase of the Moon in Sagittarius on Tuesday, March 14th. Visions, aspirations, and travel at this time are favored.

Financial concerns and practical values will be in greater focus in our way of relating to others as Venus enters Taurus on Thursday, March 16th.

The time to take decisive action will be enhanced as Mercury enters Aries on Saturday evening March 18th.

Aries New MoonThe Spring Equinox sets the stage for the beginning of new projects and adventures as the Sun enters Aries on Monday, March 20th. A New Moon in Aries on Tuesday, March 21st further accentuates the importance of new beginnings at this time.

The planet Pluto enters Aquarius on Thursday, March 23rd. The awakening of our consciousness regarding the wise use of power is likely to facilitate a number of personal and collective experiences of transformation.

Mars entering Cancer on Saturday, March 25th will likely motivate new actions for personal security.  Home and family will become a priority.

A First Quarter Phase Moon in Cancer on Tuesday, March 28th will further emphasize the emotional importance of home, security, and family.

Pisces - The Fishes

February 18 to March 20
The Sun enters the sign of Pisces on Saturday, February 18th. Pisces is a water sign ruled by the planet Neptune. The astrological house connected with Pisces is the twelfth house. Pisces represents the realm of spirit; that which lies beyond our conscious awareness.

The sign opposite Pisces is Virgo. Virgo is ruled by Mercury. The theme for Virgo is logic. The phrase is “I Analyze.”

The theme for Pisces is Faith. The phrase is “I Believe.” The key to accessing the wisdom and experience of Pisces is intuition. Pisces people benefit by trusting their intuition and spiritual guidance.

While the Sun is transiting the sign of Pisces we benefit by cultivating a spiritual practice. Meditation, prayer and a willingness to help others who are less fortunate will help us grow our soul and strengthen our faith.
