THE HARDER YOU TRY, THE WORSE IT BECOMES…

Have you ever wondered why this is… why this endless struggle without much results… does ‘God’ really have it in for you… or is it something else? Come on, how much work does it take to finally break through these struggles – after a while ‘Karma’ just becomes a meaningless excuse… so what gives…!?
Consider this: if you keep hitting your head against a brick wall, you are just going to hurt yourself! (hey! that’s a great analogy – now ‘you’ are the actual cause of your own pain… I never looked at it this way before… go figure…). O.K., to get back to our topic – if you keep struggling – doing all you can to achieve your desires… and no matter how much you do, and how hard you try, still nothing changes… then you must be doing something wrong (gee, ya think!?)
So, how to resolve this dilemma… what to do, what to do with you…
O.K., let’s try something a little different – answer me this:
(1) What would make you ‘happy’?
Not just you quietly smiling to yourself because today your boss only threw one temper tantrum… and your dog actually didn’t ignore you when you got home – hey, the schmuck thinks he’s a cat… No, I mean “Happy” as in gloriously exciting, fill your mouth with teeth, jump up and down and smack your struggles upside the head (that’s OK, it had it coming!)… Happy with a capital H – filled with vim-and-vigor (or is it “filled with vim-and-vinegar”?… I never get that one right!). So, gloriously “Happy” recently?… nope, didn’t think so!…
O.K., now answer this:
(2) Why not?
Heck, if you truly, truly believe… fervently and emphatically BELIEVE that you DESERVE to be Gloriously Happy with every quivering breath of your body… then why aren’t you?
Too hard? O.K., let’s try the final question:
(3) What are you worth…? and why are you settling for less?
O.K., I know, that’s two final questions… jeez louise, just answer it already!!
Yeah, I know, I’m a joker… but frivolity aside, these are very, very important questions – after all, it’s your Life that’s at stake… and if you don’t have the answers, then what choices do you have… and what’s worse: “where are you going…!?”
This month’s classes are dedicated to our endless ‘struggles’ – why and how they occur, the Laws which govern them, and how to successfully resolve them… So, if you are ready, then please join us, and if you still enjoy banging your head against the brick wall… then do it with gusto!! MAKING SENSE OF THE ASTRAL PLANE

Ancient and modern religions have used many different labels to describe that plane of life that all souls migrate to immediately after physical death. The many names attributed to this plane that is composed of matter much finer than the most rarified gas include-the spirit world, heaven, the afterlife, and by Occultists- the astral plane or “the astral”. Here we find Valhalla of the Norse legends, Kama Loka of the Hindu scriptures, and the Happy Hunting Ground of the Native American. Within the many subdivisions of the astral plane are levels that correspond to the Catholic Purgatory as well as the Hells of all religions.
The astral plane is not a location in space, but a sphere of life as real as the physical world. It is symbolically portrayed in the Bible as a room within God’s many mansions. The finer matter of the astral plane interpenetrates and surrounds the dense physical matter of the physical Earth plane, with both grades of matter occupying the same points in space at different rates of vibration.
Occultism teaches that our system contains seven major planes of life with the physical plane containing the densest matter and the astral plane composed of matter the next densest after that of the physical plane. The remaining five planes exist in increasingly finer grades of matter, with the seventh plane containing atoms of matter more tenuous and of a higher vibration than the matter of the six planes below it.

The astral plane, like all seven planes, can be divided into seven sub- planes with each of these divided again into 49 lesser sub- planes making a total of 343 divisions of the entire astral plane. The great variety of life, environment, and levels of consciousness of the astral plane, which is synonymous with the densest level of the spirit world surrounding Earth, accounts for the varied descriptions of the spirit world given by mystics, clairvoyants, and sensitives. Unless highly developed and experienced, it is easy to mistake a small portion of the astral plane for the entire plane.
The diverse life of the Astral World includes human souls who are at various stages of their evolution, with some having recently left the physical plane, and some preparing to enter it. Non-human entities include nature spirits, vitalized thought-forms, and beings of the Deva/Angel Kingdom.
The book- The Life after Death by C.W. Leadbeater is a good easy to read primer book about the after-life.
Denver’s Haunted Houses contain earthbound souls living in the lower sub-planes of the astral plane.

PLANETS AND POSSIBILITIES: A LOOK AT THE ASTROLOGY OF MARCH

As we begin this month, we are encouraged to formulate a game plan to ensure that we’re comfortable on our journey to the Vernal Equinox March 20 and beyond. The Sun (our consciousness) in compassionate Pisces close to dreamy Neptune in the same watery sign remind us of the healing properties of water, Mercury adds his mental acuity to the sensitive pair March 13 and stresses the need for us to pay attention to our imagination which offers us valuable information. This material may soon be used to implement new activities and goals. This past year we probably felt restricted in certain areas of our life and we want to be able to forge ahead!
Where have you felt blocked and what would you like to accomplish?
Do you have a plan in mind to implement?
We are now able to leave a lot of out-moded clutter in the dust and cultivate what is worthy of saving. The March 5 service-oriented Virgo Full Moon (culmination) ties in with this scenario since it positively aspects transformative Pluto in serious Capricorn. The Sabian Symbol reinforces the message about resources handed down to us which make our lives richer. “A fine lace handkerchief, heirloom from valorous ancestors; the quintessence of deeds well done.”
Where do we look for inspiration when making an important decision?
Who or what do we admire as symbolic of noble thoughts or actions?
Getting our ducks in a row concerning our living situation and where we want to expand will direct our actions as we take advantage of proactive energy. Venus, the planet of love, is in aggressive Aries until the 17th along with Mars who is known to fight for whatever he desires. This could prove an interesting dynamic since expansive Jupiter in dramatic Leo is egging them on. With Jupiter let’s keep in mind that too much of a good thing can prove tricky. Initiating new projects and/or relationships will further be enhanced with the arrival of astute Mercury in intuitive Pisces March 13 to help us make nuanced decisions and be flexible.

What area of our life needs a Spring cleaning?
Concurrent with the action taking place in our personal sphere, we and all around the glove are in the midst of turmoil created by the clash of transformative Pluto in serious Capricorn squaring off with revolutionary Uranus in fiery Aries. This March 16 match-up has been anticipated and is the final in a series of seven which was introduced June 24, 2012. We’ve acquired a great deal of resilience in coping with personal and societal challenges. Our strategies for persevering and centering in the face of uncertainty continue to be needed to ensure our well being. Ancient ones recognized the healing power of being in harmony with nature. When we pause and allow our minds to rest in the inner oasis of silence, valuable messages surface which guide us on our journey.
“A magnetic rock formation resembling a face is idealized by a boy who takes it as his ideal of greatness; the power of visualized ideals to mold the life of the visualizer” is the Symbol for the March 20 Pisces Solar Eclipse. Eclipses are thresholds into new territory and we are being blessed with an opportunity to investigate more refined ways of aligning with our beliefs. Teacher Saturn in devotional Sagittarius cooperates with transcendent Neptune in Pisces to help us concretize and visualize our spiritual aspirations.
Soon after this Full Moon (culmination) the Sun enters Aries to shine on our individual endeavors and officially introduce Spring. The themes of birth and fecundity elicit feelings of hope and celebration reinforcing that we are engaged in the unending cycles of Life. We are not frozen in time and can congratulate ourselves on our pioneering spirit!
