CHANGE IS COMING…CHANGE IS COMING…ARE YOU READY FOR IT…??

Whether we like it or not, Life is never ‘perfect’ – we are continually challenged and bombarded by the Unexpected, and it does take a toll on our well being. So… what options do we have? (a) learn how to cope with it, or… (b) break under the strain.
Sounds so simple, yet few are truly able to ‘cope with Unwanted and Unexpected Changes’. It could be little things – like having a flat tire the very day of your important meeting… or getting a bad cold just when you finally got that ‘hot date’… not to mention the usual deaths/divorce/bankruptcy… you know, the usual stuff that is ‘Life’.
Yes, stuff happens… and most of us simply sit back and accept it – after all, what can we do about it… right? We even give it a quaint little turn of phrase: “C’est la Vie!“; and shrug our shoulders as we meekly keep on trudging forth under yet one more burden… such a cute little human!
Well, enough already! There is soooo much that we can do about it all…
This month is dedicated to Self-Empowerment… to the correct Resolution of our Inner Conflicts… to new, and different ways to Create whatever we want (yes please, more chocolate). Finally, finally to let go of all those dim-witted, obtuse, daft Beliefs that “uh, such is Life…”.
Oh, trust me, Life can be such a joyous ride… just get out of your way!!!

PLANETS AND POSSIBILITIES: A LOOK AT THE ASTROLOGY OF APRIL

This month we are going to experience a wild ride which has its astrological seeds planted in the 1960’s. That’s when Uranus (revolution) and Pluto (transformation) were in Virgo (perfectionism) and initiated a time of social upheaval. Many in society were galvanized to work toward stopping the Vietnam War, establishing Race/Gender Equality and actually altering our culture as we knew it. On the way to achieving many of the wished for goals, there was a great deal of turmoil, violence and divisiveness which forced us to re-evaluate our values and world views. Although this process was painful, the opportunities for personal growth made it all a blessing.
Now to our current situation. Uranus (revolution) in Aries (aggressive) and Pluto (rebirth) in Capricorn (foundations) have been annoying each other big time since 2012. They each want to create change but have different agendas as to how it should come about. They’re really going to clash style wise between April 20 and 23 along with other heavy hitters in a Cardinal (charged) Grand Cross.
Obviously we need to be getting ourselves into a state of mind which will allow us to remain above the fray. Since the Moon represents our emotions, let’s check out the reassuring Sabian Symbol for the Libra (relationships) Lunar Full Moon Eclipse (culmination) on April 15. “An eagle and a large white dove change into each other; the interaction of the spiritual Will and of the Love principle when critical needs arise.” This Full Moon is positioned near Passover and Easter!
As we face the vicissitudes of our lives, we have resources to remain centered. What strategies work best for us?… Meditation, Bach Flower Essences, Nature Walks, Drinking more water?
On April 19, the Sun (consciousness) goes into Taurus (endurance) which has a strong relationship with Nature and Mother Earth. This should lend a constructive, calming effect to the vibrations emanating from the Cardinal Grand Cross. Thankfully, the Taurus (stability) New Moon (initiation) arrives April 28-29 to share a sense of groundedness and optimism this Spring. The symbol “A fully decorated Christmas Tree; the ability to create inner happiness in dark hours” reinforces the validity of really working with positive thought forms. We will come out of this with lots of insights!

THE NEW EARTH MOTHER

Many people have said that as of 12.21.2013 Mother Earth is waking up to the new energy patterns. I would like to reaffirm my devotion to our Great Mother but I’m seeing her as a whole new Mother and she is ready to move into action.
The new Mother seems to me to be much more vibrant and clear thinking. The older one is to be greatly honored for her endurance, patience and acceptance and for all she has given us, but the new one seems less tolerant. She seems less forgiving and she seems to be more strict as to what she will allow. She doesn’t like being violated and she won’t permit more of the atrocities that have been displayed in the past.
I like her. The older one was more like your favorite grandmother who had suffered too much abuse in her past but still loves her grandchildren. I think she wishes to move on to her next higher level of being and is happy to see this new Mother. The new Earth Mother seems younger, exotic and has a different plan. She needs the support of those that know her and she very much asks for our awareness to fuel her purpose. It’s not an easy process to bring Divinity into this dimension but with our collective heart, she will do it. That is her promise and that is her accepted mission as I am seeing it.
This Great Mother vibrates at a much higher frequency. I suspect if we listen to the whispers of nature, we will see, feel and embrace her. She grows in strength as we observe this newer expression. She resolves her purpose as we align to her vision and she grows in stature as we envision her goal.
She loves her children; all living forms whether organic or inorganic. I think she has been well prepared for this day and that our love for her provides the minerals for her resolve. As we look to the stars and say thank you, as we look to the sea and witness our birth, as we look to the sky and see destiny, she can shelter, protect and love us forever. This is the time and this is the day for our unification of spirit and of our resurrection.

PLANETARY AFFINITY AND THE SEVEN RAYS

Egyptian astrologers taught that the sun, moon, and five visible planets were symbols and expressions of the seven primary color rays. All physical forms were said to correspond to, and be rooted in, one or another of these seven basic energies or powers. Let’s review the ancient order of these celestial bodies and their affinities in color, number, and geometric form.- The priests of Ra counted the Moon as the first planet. The moon signified the violet ray, and harmonized with the intermediate colors red/orange and yellow/orange. Seven was the number of the moon, with the heptagon and seven- pointed star as her forms.
- Mercury, the planet of Thoth, was next. Mercury radiated the yellow ray, but also had rapport with the colors orange, violet, and yellow/green. Mercury was dual and corresponded to the number two. The symbol of infinity accurately represented the balanced and neutral nature of Mercury.
- Venus, the companion planet of Earth, followed Mercury. Venus outpoured the indigo ray, as well as attuning to the colors green, red/orange, and red/violet. Venus conformed to the number six, manifesting in the shapes of the hexagon and the six- pointed star.
- The Sun, although a star, occupied the central position in the Egyptian order of planets. Orange was the color of the Sun, who was also friendly with the colors red and yellow. The Sun was triple in nature, with the number three and the triangle as its natural expressions.
- Mars the red planet was next in the sequence. Mars pulsed with the energy of the red ray, also resonating to the intermediate colors blue/green and indigo. Mars as the planet of beginnings was numbered one, with either the circle or point as his corresponding geometric symbol.
- The giant planet Jupiter succeeded Mars in this esoteric astrological system. Jupiter emitted the color blue, and was sympathetic with the intermediate colors yellow/orange and red/violet. Jupiter vibrated to the number five, the pentagon, and the five- pointed star.
- The ringed planet we call Saturn was the seventh and last of the planets. The color of Saturn was green, but Saturn was also compatible with the colors blue/green and violet. Saturn’s number was four, with the cross and the square as associated geometric structures.

Doing so helps you heal yourself, manifest positive changes, and develop your psychic abilities. There are many gemstones to work with, and many different things they can do for you! We will go over the basic of the basics about gemstiones and how you can woek with them. Also, if you have any stones that you can’t identify, bring them with you and I can help you to learn how to identify your stones! We are going to have a lot of fun and I look forward to seeing you there, so come on and Let’s Get Stoned!
Meghan Taft has been studying geology and working with gemstones for 14 years. She works with gemstones by setting up grids in houses and businesses and does gemstone readings.
