A BETTER WAY TO MANIFEST…OR, HOW TO TALK TO SPIRIT, AND HAVE IT LISTEN!

If it’s not broken, don’t fix it!

No matter how ‘attractive’ a new approach may appear, some things should not be forgotten for they are still the best way.

Since the very beginning of Time, gifted Medicine Men and Women reached out to Spirit for guidance and protection. As their skills grew, they learned how to call upon the very Energies of Creation, and through these, achieve a most joyful and satisfying Life…not for them the struggles and turmoils of everyday…nor the meek subservient attitudes of the masses…

NO!  They were Men and Women of Power…not some little submissive wusses who timidly approached Life with faint heart… They were CREATORS!!, shapers of their own Destiny…wise in the Ways of Spirit.
…and, they left us their Knowledge, IF we are good enough to follow in their footsteps (now, ain’t that a hoot!?!)

PLANETS AND POSSIBILITIES:

A LOOK AT THE ASTROLOGY OF SEPTEMBER

A Virgo Sun of discriminating identity ushers in this month preparing us to take advantage of the New Moon (new cycle) in Virgo on September 5. Its significance according to the Sabian Symbol is that of connecting our current experiences and development with the material we have inherited from our ancestors. While mulling over the established traditions contributing to our values and attitudes we are asked to figure out how to incorporate into our psyches imprints which will serve us well.

We also must not ignore the problematic imprints which can surface as we delve into “Family Dynamics”. The Family may be whatever group with which we most identify and are influenced by. We can appreciate and honor that which has come before while evaluating to what extent it is serving our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual growth. Jupiter (optimism) in Cancer (sensitivity) is aspecting the Moon and brings positive energy to help us address these questions.

After slogging through this material, we will be able to reap rewards when the compassionate Pisces Harvest Moon takes place on September 19. This Full Moon of fulfillment is time to review how much our efforts manifested in a willingness to be open to new ideas and possibilities. With increased understanding of what motivates us comes a more grounded feeling. This is good because we still have the revolutionary Uranus and transforming Pluto acting out on the world stage. When in doubt, remember to breathe deeply and drink plenty of water.

Three days after we celebrate our bounty we enter another time of adjustment when the Sun, our identity, enters Libra (relationships) on September 22. The Autumnal Equinox is the change of season and a time of decreasing light. This begins a trend for us to gradually start turning inward and arrange for time to reflect.

While the weather still permits, let’s take advantage of whatever our natural surroundings have to offer — sitting under a tree or a tranquil stroll?

9/9 — Mercury, the planet of communication moves into Libra, the sign of beauty and love.

9/10 — Venus, the love planet moves into the sign of transformational Scorpio.

9/20 — Pluto, regeneration planet focuses its intense energy through ambitious Capricorn.

9/29 — Mercury, communication planet moves into Scorpio.

THE ALCHEMY OF VIRTUE

Virtue lives beyond the stars and feeds the air we breathe.
It stands alone with balance and beauty
Like a sculpted goddess atop Mt. Olympus.

In this crucible of life
Humans have learned to hate, to kill and to reason away the soul
Where virtue may feel distant, cold or unripened.

But virtue is the alchemist’s grandest secret for creating the gold of
happiness.
And virtue is the returning song to Source.
The seeds of virtue sprout our most precious possessions
Where the flowers of Elysian Fields may grow.

PRISM COLORS, MUSICAL NOTES AND ASTROLOGY

Color and musical tones and vibration pervade spiritual as well as physical planes of life on planet earth. Let’s examine the relationships between colors and musical tones when we divide their mutual spectrum by the numbers one, three, seven, and twelve.

Division by 1 gives us the white light, the source of the 7 sub-rays of light, which is paralleled in the Aum or Om sound. The Aum is the sacred chord, the single note reverberating through all life. It is the basis of the celestial Music of the Spheres, said to be heard by Pythagoras, the Greek mystery school Adept.

Division by 3 yields the three primary colors- red, yellow, and blue, and musically, the three fundamental tones –Do, Mi, and Sol.

Division by 7 completes the visible light spectrum by adding the blended colors – orange, green, indigo, and violet, to the primary colors, red, yellow, and blue. The seven colors and tones linked with related planets are:  Red- Do- Mars, Orange- Re- Sun, Yellow- Mi- Mercury, Green- Fa- Saturn, Blue- Sol- Jupiter, Indigo- La- Venus, and Violet- Ti- Moon.  The 7 tones are the 7-stringed lyre of the ancients.

Division by 12 reveals the 12 section color wheel, 12 musical tones, and the 12 signs of the zodiac.  The following chart places the 7 tones in a 12 tone ascending scale, along with related colors and sun-signs.

Two good correlated books to the study of color are – The Principles of Light and Color by Edwin S. Babbitt, which examines the therapeutic properties of color, and Music Forms, by Geoffrey Hodson, which shows how music appears psychically to clairvoyant vision.

Bruce Johnson has over 30 years of study in the fields of Ancient Wisdom and occultism. He has taught classes on a wide range of topics, from Atlantis to mediums to Zoroaster.
