MARCH ASTROLOGICAL UPDATE

PISCES (February 20-March 20)

March marks the end of a three-month cycle of growing the seeds we planted between October and December of last year. This month the number 9 signifies endings (3+2+-0+1+3 = 9). The vibration for this month is wisdom and compassion for all. This is significant since Pisces marks the final sign in our journey through the zodiac.  It represents our depth of feelings, our return to Source, the collective unconscious and the dreams of our imagination.

We are on the threshold of a new period of time, referred to by the Mayans as the “New Dream.” It is a frequency alignment with our soul journey and our foundation for the next evolution of humankind.  This shift in consciousness, from separation into oneness compels us to become more balanced within ourselves and in our relationships with others.

Mercury continues its retrograde journey throughout the month, reminding us that this not the best time to start new projects and sign contracts. We are given an opportunity to rest a bit, as we take time to finish up old projects and reorganize our lives.

On March 11^th the Pisces New Moon, at 21 Pisces 24, offers mystical inspiration to start something new.  This new lunar phase is an invitation to plant seeds of hope, faith and possibility. Our old vision is expanding as we allow our new dreams to lead us forward. We find peace through retreat, meditation and prayer. The insights gained from this introspective period, give way to outer self-expression, when Mercury shifts out of retrograde on the 18^th.

The winds of change are amped up, when the harmony seeking Libra Full Moon challenges us to find peace on the 27^th.  This is one of the most important and most intense Full Moons of the year.  An opposing cluster of planets, all positioned in fiery Aries, (Sun, Venus, Uranus and Mars), defy us to take a giant step forward. The Sabian symbol for this Full Moon at 6 degrees Libra 52, affirms that this is a time of pivotal choices for living in love or living in fear. It’s time to act on the insights and visions we garnered under the New Moon. A grand adventure awaits us.  It only takes a leap of faith that we are beloved and we are Divine!

WELCOME SPRING & THE REBIRTH OF NATURE

There is history on what St. Patrick’s Day commemorates and celebrates. All of that is for another article. St Patrick’s Day to me is the color of green, and the leprechauns whose character brings a smile to my face.

The color of green reminds me spring and the rebirth of nature is on its way. Try closing your eyes and imagine the color of green; and see how it brings brightness to your mind.

On the other hand, let little things like the cuteness of leprechauns bring a moment of joy. I imagine that little leprechaun dancing upon my yard and saying, “good tidings for another spring comes”. Or let us use our imagination to see the leprechaun spreading of his magic dust to bring in that green of spring.

If we can accept of what nature brings and transpires to each season we become more true to ourselves. We will be less stressed and be trusting to the universe to bring nature as it is meant to be. And deciding that nature’s best is what is coming into being; this acceptance is our agreement with the universe to bring the best for all. The result is being more content in our lives; because we release this to trust. By acceptance of what is, contentment brings us to a healthy state of mind.  Develop credence and cultivate wisdom by being happier with what the universe has transpired.  At times we will question this because of the incredible storms and disasters, but have confidence that these things are with the natural regeneration that is meant for transcendence to newness.

Let us see nature as it rebirths itself. Live in the fruition of a new spring to come, and find moments of rejuvenation. Take a walk and feel the vibration of this happening in the stillness or silence of all the earth’s essences.  Be grateful for the miracles that transpire each season and find joy in watching it develop to beauty of green.  By finding grace in such little things, it inspires us to a whole new appreciation for the meaning of our lives.

AKASA, ETHER AND INFINITE SPACE

The Biblical deep, and the waters the Spirit of God was hovering over in Genesis, are the same as the Sanskrit term akasa or akasha. This primordial substance which is the cause and root of all objective form, pervades all space, and is space itself. Occult Science shows space to be alive and interconnected, not lifeless and void.

This ultimate living essence is eternal, indestructible, and in constant fluidic motion. Akasa is seven-fold in nature, manifesting from the most refined spiritual levels, through the etheric levels of the physical plane. The ether, denied by many modern scientists, is the most concrete expression of akasa and is physical, although much finer than the most rarified gas.

Akasa is sometimes called the celestial ocean, invisible infinite and unmanifested, from which all objective life springs, and to which it returns. It is the basic one element that is a synthesis of the forces of nature, and is the substance of the Laws of Harmony and Cycles. Akasa is also the subtle storehouse of all thoughts and concretetised expressions of life. Akasha is indelibly impressed by motion of all types, including human thought and feeling, is the basis for the interesting phenomenon known as the Akashic Records. These could be called nature’s memory, and can be read by rare individuals who have developed that gift. Most akashic readers attempt to interpret the fragmented and distorted astral records, not those of higher spheres requiring true spiritual vision.

Sir Isaac Newton hypothesized about the possibility of all things manifesting from this super-tenuous medium that permeates all space, called the ether. Esoteric Science divides physical matter into seven levels – solid, liquid, gas, and four progressively finer etheric levels. The matter of the densest of these etheric sub-planes is the ether of physical science. The Ancient Wisdom teaches that light, heat, electricity, magnetism, sound, and chemical affinity are reflections of the motions and vibrations of the underlying ether.

Quantum physics indicates to some insightful occultists, the existence of the ether. Pioneering scientists will prove the reality of the elusive and disbelieved in ether within this century. Advocates of the Unified Field Theory will find confirmation surprisingly enough, in the study of the human etheric body.  Madame Blavatsky’s book – Isis Unveiled, examines akasa and ether in greater depth.
