December 2023 Astrology Update

We begin the month of December with Mercury entering Capricorn on Friday, December 1^st. A mental focus on our personal and professional goals and objectives occurs naturally while Mercury is in the sign of Capricorn.

Venus enters Scorpio on Monday, December 4^th just before the Last Quarter Phase Moon occurs in Virgo on the same day. Venus describes how we relate with others. Scorpio is a sign of passion and desire. Scorpio is also known for power, control and resourcefulness. The need to utilize the financial resources of others for our work, health and business may become necessary at this time.

Neptune goes direct in Pisces on Wednesday, December 6^th. The desire to help those who are less fortunate can be spiritually and emotionally rewarding at this time.

Mars continues its transit of Sagittarius for the entire month of December. Plans involving travel around the holiday period will be in focus at this time.

A New Moon occurs in Sagittarius on Tuesday, December 12^th just before Mercury goes retrograde in Capricorn. Delays in travel plans and problems in connection and communication are likely to occur while Mercury is retrograde. Mercury will not go direct until January 1^st 2024.

A First Quarter Phase Moon occurs in Pisces on Tuesday, December 19^th. We are likely to experience some confusion and disappointment at this time.

The Sun enters Capricorn on Thursday evening December 21^st. This is the official beginning of Winter and is known as the Winter Solstice. I will be creating a future article about the significance of this event in the near future.

Mercury retrogrades back into Sagittarius late on Friday, December 22^nd. The temptation will be to speak your truth spontaneously without considering the impact of your words on the feelings of others. This can be devastating for the well-being of our relationships with friends and family members during the holiday period.

A Full Moon occurs in Cancer on Tuesday, December 26^th. Awareness of the emotional needs and feelings of family members will be in high focus. An opportunity to heal and resolve old wounds can occur because Chiron will be going direct in Aries also on Tuesday evening, December 26^th. It is time to address any issues that have threatened to undermine the emotional health and well-being of our relationships with friends and family members.

A free and liberated experience can occur in our relationships with self and others as Venus enters Sagittarius on Friday, December 29^th.

Jupiter goes direct in Taurus on Saturday, December 30^th. Opportunities to enhance our experience of personal and professional economic value are now at hand.
