Crystal Grids

The Shift Network has free online workshops on metaphysical topics as an introduction to their classes. I try to glean some information from these free webinars. One such event was the “Experience the Purifying Power of Amethyst in Taoist Stone Medicine” by Sarah Thomas, Lac. She’s an acupuncturist who also uses crystals and stones for healing. During her presentation, she mentioned the use of crystal grids and especially those with amethysts. She described how to use a really simple grid with amethysts in the shape of a diamond. You can put your intention in the middle, or you can put the amethysts on your body or around your body in the shape of a diamond. She said that using amethysts is like working with the violet flame.

This really intrigued me and so I did some research on crystal grids and came across Ethan Lazzerini, the author of four crystal healing books, including the bestselling book, “Crystal Grids Power” in which I was able to buy the e-version on Kindle. He has over 25 years of experience working with crystals and has his own YouTube channel. He uses sacred geometry symbols for his crystal grids. What’s amazing to me, is that many of the sacred geometry symbols are in the crystals themselves. His book gives a detailed step by step guide on how to use them complete with illustrations and drawings and templates of crystal grids that you can use. He explains what crystals and what symbol of sacred geometry are appropriate and best for your intentions. You can find geometric symbols on soft wood, cloth, one made of a crystal, like selenite, or a printout of one of his templates. In one of his videos on YouTube he show how to do a simple healing video with the “Flower of Life” symbol.

Before starting, make sure that you pick a place where your grid won’t be disturbed. You must first clean your crystals with whatever method you use, such as either smoke from a smudge stick, using a Tibetan Singing Bowl, the light of a full moon, or pyramids. I used inexpensive tumble stones for the crystals which I bought from the Shining Lotus Metaphysical Bookstore and fully charged them from a full moon, so that I could follow his healing video. If these are new crystals, he recommends consecrating them after the first cleansing, which is a good idea. In his book, “Crystal Grids Power” he says to hold the crystals at your third eye level and say “I dedicate these crystals to the Creator Source (Or God, Goddess, Great Spirit, Divine Light, Universe, Infinite Intelligence, Source Energy, All-That-Is etc.) Please bless and protect these crystals. May these crystals serve and only serve my highest and greatest good and the highest and greatest good of all”. Then these crystals will always be reset to this intention when they are cleansed. If you don’t know exactly how to clean your crystals, he also has a simple and quick way visualizing a universal white light that is described in his book.

The next step is to activate the crystal grid. As per his video, you do that by writing a note that says “(Name) is healed on all levels”. Take three deep breaths and then hold the crystals that are going to be placed on the grid along with the note up to your third eye level and focus on your intention. Imagine the person in good health and say “May this crystal grid restore health and bring healing to (Name). If that be for the highest and greatest good”. I also put a picture of the person that was taken when they were healthy along with the note. You then place the crystals on the grid going in a clockwise direction. I followed the variation in his video with amazonite as the center stone, and three clear quartz crystals, three smokey quartz crystals, and six amethyst crystals.

I use the smokey quartz crystals because they help get rid of any negative or doubting energies and the amethyst crystals will turn lower energies in higher energies which is important for the healing process. There is another healing crystal grid in his book with Amazonite as the center stone, three Bloodstone tumble stones, three Lapis Lazuli tumble stones, and three Clear Quartz Crystal Points.

If your crystal grids are there for a while, and you would like to clean them so that they will still be effective, you can put the crystals in the same pattern off to the side and wipe them off with a dry cloth and then put them back in the same formation. You can also energetically cleanse them in the same way that you clean crystals like smudging, using the universal white light, or by using a Tibetan Singing bowl, if you don’t want to move them.

In his book, he also says that when you are finished with the crystal grid, then you need to deactivate it. This is done by removing the crystals and the other things that you used on the grid and then holding all the crystals and items in your hands. Take three deep breaths, visualize a white beam of white light coming down into crown chakra down to the heart chakra and then through arms and hands. Then he wants you to say out loud, or in your head, “I cleanse, purify and rebalance these crystals of all negative, unbalanced or fear-based energies, now! I clear and remove all previous patterns and programs stored within this Crystal Grid, now!” After that, you cleanse them, so that the crystals and the sacred geometry symbol can be used again.

Ethan Lazzerini has demonstrated that the combination of crystals onto a sacred geometry symbol will magnify the power of both into a very powerful tool for sending energy.
