EXPLORING THE NATURE OF KARMA

The doctrine of karma can be compared to a mysterious land that as pioneers in thought, we have just begun to investigate. Understanding the basic qualities of karma can be a map to treasures of truth hidden within this universal law that all are subject to. Let’s examine this spiritual law of divine justice which is as broad in scope, unchanging, and real as any law known to modern science.
Karma can be defined as action, or effect producing cause. The Law of Karma is the law of cause and effect, and is true for individual souls as well as groups of people. The combined individual karmas of any group comprise its collective karma, which each person in the group affects and is effected by. The law states that every action must have an effect, and that every effect is preceded by a related cause. The effect is always proportionate to the cause, and is similar in nature to the originating energy. Jesus symbolized this truth in the parable of the seeds and fruit. The seed signifies the cause, with the fruit indicating the effect. Good seeds or actions must yield a harvest of healthy fruit, or positive karma, as bad seeds necessarily bring fruits of negative karma, and so we are all judged by the fruits of our actions.
Time is no issue to the eternal Law of Karma which maintains the perfect balance and equilibrium that is at the root of our universe. In spite of any situation where injustice temporarily seems to prevail, we can be assured that ultimately, karma avenges and rewards the innocent and brings justice to the guilty. Karma has been called “The Great Adjuster”, and works to restore harmony where action has created disharmony and imbalance, whether on a personal or planetary scale. The divine Law of Karma is ever
present, inescapable, and never errs. “Like attracts like” is the essence of this cosmic law.
In the very real Book of Life, all actions of each soul, good, bad, and indifferent are recorded to their credit or debit. Truly, God is not mocked-“As we sow, so shall we reap”. Buddhism teaches that the demonstration of divine love brings all earthly karma to an end.

SANDALPHON THE ARCHANGEL

There are a lot of archangels that are well known like Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel. You may also have heard about Zadkiel, Uriel and especially Metatron. I wrote an article about Metatron’s Cube and how powerful it is. There are many books on angels and archangels at the Shining Lotus which are very comprehensive, but little is written about Sandalphon. Sandalphon may not be as well-known as the other archangels, but Sandalphon also has many gifts and powers. In doing my research on archangel Sandalphon, I came across a very long poem written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow about Sandalphon. It’s worth reading.
What I did find on many Internet sites is that Sandalphon is the twin archangel of Metatron. Both were prophets that were made archangels by God. Supposedly Sandalphon was the prophet, Elijah, and Metatron was the prophet, Enoch. So, why am I writing about Sandalphon, it’s because I keep coming across this archangel. I discovered that Sandalphon is the archangel of music and I have written several articles on the healing powers of music and sound. Another interesting gift is creativity which I use to write these articles. A sound healer that I use, calls on Sandalphon to help with her healing. I received an article on the turquoise crystal and its healing properties. Then I found out that this crystal and color is associated with Sandalphon. I sometimes smell a sweet scent of sandal wood which also associated with Sandalphon, and sandal wood is used to make malas which carry our prayers to heaven. This also is another trait that is connected to Sandalphon.
Some spiritual teachers will tell you that the vibration of archangels is too strong for our physical bodies and so we really can’t channel archangels and that we’re really only working with their lineage. Others have told me that the archangels can turn down their vibration so that we can work with them. In any event I do know that the archangels are here not only to serve God, but humans as well. So, whether it’s working with their lineage or the archangels themselves, they are here for us.
On all of the websites about Sandalphon, he is referred to as “The Tall One” as he is large in stature. I have a massage therapist who uses Reiki in her treatment and is very spiritual and intuitive. She always tells me how many of my guides are present. There can be as many as twelve, but there is one in particular that always shows up. She says that he is very tall. Gee, I wonder who that could be.

JANUARY 2026 ASTROLOGY UPDATE

2026 adds to a 1(one) which symbolizes new beginnings. We begin the New Year with the Moon in Gemini and Mercury entering Capricorn on Thursday, January 1st. An emotional need to share our ideas regarding our goals and objectives for the New Year is intensified at this time.
Chiron goes direct in Aries and the Moon enters Cancer on Friday, January 2nd. The key to change will center around issues related to family and security as we approach the Full Moon in Cancer on Saturday, January 3rd.
A Last Quarter Phase Moon occurs in Libra on Saturday, January 10th. Our emotional need to share our feelings and experiences with others is highlighted at this time.
Venus enters Aquarius on Saturday, January 17th. Our relationships and finances are likely to experience certain changes during the transit of Venus in Aquarius.
A New Moon occurs in Capricorn on Sunday, January 18th. A new beginning in our emotional approach to our personal and professional goals and objectives will become necessary as the Sun enters Aquarius on Monday, January 19th. Independence change and innovation are in focus during the time while the Sun is transiting the sign of Aquarius.
We are likely to change our way of thinking and communicating as Mercury enters Aquarius on Tuesday, January 20th. A revolution in consciousness and technology is likely to stimulate major change in how we engage in business and trade as Mars enters Aquarius on Friday, January 23rd.
These changes will likely affect our personal values and finances as the First Quarter Phase Moon occurs in Taurus on Sunday, January 25th.
On Monday, January 26th, Neptune enters the sign of Aries. This combination of Mars and Neptune will continue to be a theme for most of next year. Helping others to become more self-sufficient and productive will cultivate an experience of mutual value and appreciation.

CAPRICORN the Sea Goat in 2025/2026

In an ocean, perhaps in my dreams, there is a sea creature, a goat with the tail of a fish. This goat emerges from the water to climb to the top of the nearest mountain; fully intentional to achieve its goal.
The Capricorn soul needs to strive toward a goal. They are passionate and purposeful. They grow their willpower by confronting and overcoming obstacles. The harder the journey, the sweeter the joy of accomplishment and success.
Saturn is the planet that rules Capricorn. Saturn is often referred to as Father time. It doesn’t matter how long it takes to reach our goals and objectives; it only matters that no matter what the challenges, we continue to move forward to our goal; one step and one day at a time.
