Apocryphal books and manuscripts in addition to the 66 books that comprise the Bible contain important accounts and incidents of the life of Jesus that are missing from the Christian Bible. This article is based on the ancient records of the Essene Brotherhood and the Rosicrucian Order, which fill in many gaps concerning some little-known aspects of the earthly mission of Jesus.

When Jesus was born, the Essenes were already well established in parts of Palestine and Egypt, including a very large community in Galilee, its largest center located in Alexandria, Egypt, and their sacred temple/complex in Heliopolis, Egypt. Heliopolis is where their supreme officials met, and their highest spiritual ceremonies were held. Jesus was born into a family of devout Essenes within a community of Essenes. The parents of Jesus were Gentiles, not Jews. The Great White Brotherhood of Light includes the Essene Brotherhood.

The “School of the Essenes” was located at the summit of nearby Mount Carmel, which also held a great library, college, monastery and temple. Jesus studied here from the age of six to the fall of his thirteenth year. After completing his education at Mount Carmel, two Magi were placed in charge of conducting and instructing the young Jesus on the way to the distant school located in Jagganath, India where Jesus remained for about a year, becoming thoroughly familiar with ancient Buddhist teachings and rituals. Jesus, accompanied by his two Magi guides, then resided in Benares, studying many subjects, including Hinduism and Hindu healing methods.

Leaving Benares, Jesus accompanied as always by his two Magi guardians, traveled to other parts of India before returning to Jagannath where he stayed at the monastery for two more years. After completing his studies in India, some ancient records state the Jesus then visited Tibet. Departing Jagannath a second time, Jesus and the two Magi travel west toward Persia to a city named Pesepolis. Magi from throughout Persia came to Persepolis to instruct the youthful Jesus during the year or so he was there. Jesus demonstrated increasing healing power in Persepolis after studying the Magi healing principles taught there.

From Persia, Jesus and the Magi journeyed to regions between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, where Jesus consulted the greatest sages of Assyria. Like in Pesepolis, Magi from many lands came to see and teach Jesus who powerfully healed multitudes in the cities and towns around Chaldea, and in the lands between the two rivers. Leaving the Euphrates area, Jesus and his two Magi protectors briefly visit the ruins of Babylon on their way to Greece, where they stay a few months before proceeding to Alexandria, Egypt. After a short time visiting ancient shrines near Alexandria, they continued on to Heliopolis.

His spiritual training, education, experiences and travels had prepared Jesus for initiation into the higher levels of the Great White Brotherhood. This began in the supreme monastery at Heliopolis, Egypt starting with three months of meditation, prayer and study, followed by three preliminary tests that Jesus successfully passed. Jesus participated in additional spiritual preparations, initiations and ceremonies during the years he spent in Egypt, culminating with his Great Initiation held in the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Reliable ancient records reveal that Jesus physically continued guiding and instructing his Apostles for years after his ascension.

For some reason I keep seeing references to the Archangel Metatron, whether it’s on the Internet or on YouTube TV on my television. The YouTube channel streams relaxing meditation music with colorful images. Frequencies for Metatron keep popping up along with a beautiful geometric figure that is named after him. Metatron’s Cube is also found on tapestries and on jewelry. So, I did some research on him and his symbol, and found two wonderful articles that were just recently published. One is by Devin McSween on the WikiHow website, and the other is by Celina Wang on the BuddhaandKarma website. Both provide significant details about Metatron and Metatron’s Cube. I will try to summarize what they say, and I will add something very interesting at the end.

Metatron was the prophet Enoch before he ascended and was transformed into an archangel similar to his so-called twin brother Sandalphon. It is believed that the cube is named after Metatron because Metatron is the scribe of heaven, and the cube represents the architecture of creation connecting the physical and spiritual worlds. It is a powerful symbol from sacred geometry that can be used during meditation to connect to Spirit in order to be given guidance and direction. It also is used for manifestation, healing, and especially for protection from negative energy. Just have the symbol handy when you meditate or put it on a wall or on some place near you for protection.

Fruit Of LifeSacred geometry contains all the shapes and patterns that form the basis of life. Metatron’s cube also contains the “Fruit of Life Symbol”. If you put six circles around one circle in the middle so that the outer circles touch, and then add a circle to the outer circles, you get the Fruit of Life symbol. Then if you connect the midpoint of each circle with the midpoints of all of the other circles, you get Metatron’s Cube.

In Sacred Geometry, the circles are feminine, and the straight lines are masculine and thus promote harmony and balance in nature and in the world. When Metatron’s Cube is projected in 3D space, there are five platonic solids that are contained in Metatron’s Cube. The solids are named after Plato, who gave the spiritual meaning for each object. Each solid represents an element of the universe, which are earth, fire, air, water, and ether. These are the four physical elements in creation and heaven. They each have their own special positive characteristics which along with the Fruit of Life makes Metatron’s Cube super powerful. They are also called The Five Regular Polyhedrons, which are the Tetrahedron (four faces), the Octahedron (eight faces), the Hexahedron (six faces), the Icosahedron (twenty faces), and the dodecahedron (twelve faces) with all sides and angles on each figure equal to each other. They are also commonly found in nature.

Tetrahedron (4 sides)
Octahedron (8 sides)
Hexahedron (6 sides)
Dodecahedron (12 sides)
Icosahedron (20 sides)

Now here’s the interesting part. When I was a junior in high school, my high school science fair project was on “The Five Regular Polyhedrons”! So, it looks like I’ve come full circle (no pun intended). At that time, I approached them from a mathematical and geometrical standpoint in that the sides and angles are equal for each figure. I also laid out designs on how to build the 3D objects along with the figures themselves on display for my project. Now Spirit has given me the spiritual meaning for each symbol, and I am now able to use the power of Metatron’s Cube. Sometimes we just have to raise our awareness and our consciousness to use the power that Spirit has given us.

Old Historic Astrologer

We begin the month of February with both the Sun and Pluto in Aquarius and Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus all in Earth signs. The tension here is between the urge for security represented by the Earth signs and the conscious expression of independence and change symbolized by Aquarius.

A Last Quarter Phase Moon occurs in Scorpio on Friday, February 2nd. Circumstances and situations invite us to let go of exclusive control and management of our personal and professional activities and experiences. Learning how to relax and go with the flow will support a more beneficial outcome.

Mercury enters Aquarius on Sunday, February 4th. This action signals an important change in our thinking and decision making. New insights and perspectives on how to share information is becoming more available.

New Moon in AquariusA New Moon occurs in Aquarius on Friday, February 9th. Awakening to new ways of experiencing relationship is symbolized by the Libra decan of Aquarius of this New Moon.

The Chinese New Year of the Dragon begins on Saturday, February 10th. The Dragon is one of the luckiest signs in the Chinese zodiac. The theme for this year is “Fortune favors the Bold.”

Mars enters Aquarius on Tuesday, February 13th. Actions involving independence, entrepreneurship, and innovation are favored. Unique and original expressions of love are likely to be expressed on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. The Moon in Taurus highlights the importance of choosing the right venue for the evening meal.

Venus enters Aquarius right after the First Quarter Phase Moon in Taurus on Friday, February 16th. The Moon entering Gemini on the same day encourages good communication and discussions involving business and pleasure with friends and associates.

Full MoonThe Sun enters the sign of Pisces on Sunday, February 18th. We are now invited to transition from the intellectual preoccupation of Aquarius to the emotional experience of Pisces. Pisces is a water sign ruled by Neptune.

Emotional sensitivity and compassion are favored. Music, meditation and artistic expression are highlighted while the Sun is transiting the sign of Pisces. Mercury enters the sign of Pisces on February 23rd. Trusting our intuition and spiritual guidance while Mercury is transiting the sign of Pisces will prove beneficial. A vacation involving water will be relaxing and emotionally therapeutic.

A Full Moon occurs in Virgo on Saturday, February 24th. Some combination of work, health and service will support optimum wellness.

AQUARIUS, the water bearer in 2024
by Roy Neal

January 20 to February 19

Aquarius, The Water BearerThe Sun enters the sign of Aquarius on Saturday, January 20th. The planet Pluto enters Aquarius later that same day. Aquarius is an air sign ruled by the planet Uranus. Uranus is a planet that symbolizes sudden and unexpected change. Uranus is also known as the planet of awakening.

Accidents, earthquakes and other occurrences which appear to be out of our conscious control often occur when Uranus is forming stressful aspects to our personal and mundane charts. The shake up/wake up influence of Uranus invites us to make changes in our perceptions and daily routine of everyday life. Changes in our attitudes regarding power, passion and control are likely to occur while Pluto is transiting the sign of Aquarius.

Aquarius also rules technology and social change. Independent, innovative and unconventional are words that describe the Aquarian personality. If you are interested in a unique way of perceiving reality, the future and supporting humanitarian causes, you would do well to spend time with someone who has the Ascendant, Sun, Moon and other personal planets in the sign of Aquarius.
