REPETITION
by Bob Romero
A spiritual tool that is often overlooked, is repetition. We know physically that repetition helps us to perform. Athletes point to getting “reps” which is short for repetitions to help them get ready for a game. When golfers have lessons that help their swing, they practice the same movement repeatedly so that it’s committed to muscle memory. Actors and musicians rehearse constantly so that they will perform at their very best. In Yoga, we practice some of the same poses from class to class so that over time, our body becomes more flexible.
Repetition is also used in spirituality practices for healing and manifestation. The more a person uses Reiki for healing, the stronger it gets. Mantras are repeated and usually with malas that have 108 beads, and often for 40 days. Rosaries have 54 beads in the circle and 5 outside in which prayers are repeated with the Hail Mary the most often repeated prayer. Padre Pio said that daily prayer with the rosary is the weapon of our time. Affirmations are said over and over so that they become true.
One prayer that was said all over the world that was given to Alice Bailey, a well-known theosophist, in 1945, is “The Great Invocation”. She founded the Lucis Trust in 1922 and the Arcane School in 1923. The invocation was to end World War II and for all the nations around the world to unite against fascism and the Nazis. There is an audio recording of Elenore Roosevelt in 1952 reciting “The Great Invocation” on the Lucis Trust website. Because the world is again being threatened by fascism and the Nazi movement including the United States of America, there is a drive now for millions of people to repeat The Great Invocation three times a day, in order to ward off this vast evil threat.
The Great Invocation
From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.
From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.
From the center where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men –
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.
From the center which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.
Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.
Why does repetition work? It works because of the etheric law, “Energy follows thought”. We must be careful about what we think, because negative thoughts may invoke negative outcomes. To think of more positive thoughts, a psychic who channels angels told us to say the words, “I am in the thoughts of the molecules, God inspire me”, eight times a day. The reason to say it eight times, is because the number “8” is also a symbol for infinity and is a constant flow of energy and power. But with the use of repetition, we are focused on a positive outcome. Everything in the universe is energy and its molecules and atoms are vibrating at different levels. The intention of what we are repeating, is channeling energy towards what we want. The repetition reenforces the objective and constantly streams energy towards it.
In my class of “Transformation and Evolution”, we learned that molecular vibration never ceases. God is represented by the mystic symbol, “Om”. So chanting “Om” is the most powerful repetition that we can do. It raises the vibration of our molecules so that we become one with Spirit and all outcomes are possible. Repetition may seem tedious and monotonous, but it is a very powerful tool on the spiritual path.

JANUARY 2022 ASTROLOGY UPDATE
by Roy Neal
Happy New Year! 2022 adds to a six. Six is the astrological house of work, health and service. Finding a work situation that you enjoy will assist you in experiencing good mental, emotional and physical health.
We begin the month of January with both the Sun and Moon in the sign of Capricorn. An emotional and conscious commitment to new goals is supported by the New Moon in the sign of Capricorn on Sunday, January 2nd.
Just prior to this New Moon the planet Mercury will be entering the sign of Aquarius. New ideas and innovative ways of thinking and communicating are likely to be experienced for most of the month. We will be exploring new ways of thinking about how to achieve our goals and business success. Communication with friends and groups is likely to inspire emotional and mental insights and awareness.
Jupiter will be transiting the sign of Pisces until it enters Aries on May 10th. We benefit by learning how to trust our intuition and spiritual guidance at this time.
A First Quarter Phase Moon occurs in Aries on Sunday, January 9th. Because Aries is ruled by Mars we should expect certain types of confrontation starting on Friday evening January 7th and continuing through the entire weekend.
Mercury will go retrograde in Aquarius on Friday, January 14th and will not return to direct motion until February 3rd. The urge to challenge certain policies and protocol is enhanced while Mercury is transiting the sign of Aquarius.
A Full Moon occurs in the sign of Cancer on Monday, January 17th, which is also Martin Luther King Jr. Day. A focus on family and community may also evolve into civil unrest as the Moon enters the sign of Leo and Uranus goes direct in Taurus on Tuesday, January 18th. Uranus in Taurus reminds us that all people need to feel valued and valuable.
The Sun enters the sign of Aquarius on Wednesday, January 19th. Aquarius is a sign of independence and originality. Uranus is the ruling planet of Aquarius and is often called “The Awakener.” A rebellious nature and a desire for change is likely to be in focus until the Sun enters Pisces on Friday, February 18th.
Mars enters the sign of Capricorn on Monday, January 24th. Things in general are likely to calm down as Mars transits the earth sign of Capricorn and the Moon experiences its Last Quarter Phase in Scorpio on Tuesday, January 25th. This energetic change is further in evidence as Mercury enters Capricorn early on Saturday morning, January 29th. The urge to be practical and calculated in our business decisions and relationships is likely to take precedence at this time.
A New Moon occurs in Aquarius on Monday, January 31st. New beginnings in the process of change and social awakening are likely to be enhanced as we usher in the Chinese New Year of the Tiger.

ASTRAL SPHERE INHABITANTS
by Bruce Johnson
The sixth densest of the interpenetrating and concentric energy spheres surrounding planet Earth is variously known known as the astral sphere, the astral plane or Kamaloka. This is the plane of life the human soul resides in prior to and immediately after Earthly incarnation, and is filled with a variety of life. We might recall encounters with astral entities during sleep or astral projection experiences, and we will certainly be exposed to them after physical death. Let’s investigate four categories of some astral sphere entities.
1- Physically incarnated humans temporarily found on the astral plane include- Those progressed students who can traverse the astral plane in their mental body cloaked with astral matter, at times accompanied by an adept. Psychically developed individuals, including positive and negative magicians and their students, who can consciously travel in the astral vehicle while out of the physical body. The average person who floats about the astral plane often being unconscious or partially conscious of it, while their physical body is asleep.
2- The discarnate astral inhabitant category also contains disciples and initiates of both light and darkness as well as their teachers. There are astral-dwelling disciples who have foregone the bliss of a Devachanic rest and are temporarily staying on the astral plane awaiting opportunity for a near-immediate reincarnation. Additionally, a large group of previously incarnated people who encompass the range of human consciousness, occupy different levels of the Kamaloka. On rare occasions, certain great souls from higher spiritual planes temporarily contact the finest sub-planes the astral sphere.
Like the 1st death where the soul drops the physical body, at the 2nd death our soul discards its astral body and moves on to the Heaven-world. This astral corpse, sometimes called a shade, eventually resolves back into basic astral matter. Although the soul has left it, some small intellect, life and memory are retained for a while by the astral corpse that can be seen drifting on astral currents. The astral corpse in the last stages of disintegration is called a shell, is always negative, and like the shade, should be avoided by the astral traveler.
3- The astral residents of the third group are those beings called non-human. The seven classes of angels occupying the astral plane are called Kama Devas. They are overseen by Varuna, the great Deva Lord of the astral plane. Lesser in development than the astral angels, but of the same evolutionary line, are the nature spirits. Of these, the air spirits or sylphs are the most advanced, and unlike most nature spirits, dwell on the astral plane. Animals that have reached individualization live consciously for a relatively short time on the astral plane after death before falling into a happy sleep preceding a new incarnation.
4- A fourth classification incorporates that example of astral life known as the artificial elemental. An artificial elemental is created by pouring strong desire energy into a thought-form, producing a semi-intelligent living artificial entity whose life is proportionate to the energy it contains. The artificial elemental can be consciously or unconsciously fashioned to produce good or evil results depending on its core thought-form, and the nature of the energies and forces it was constructed from. Destroying thought-forms and artificial elementals of an evil nature created by diverse individuals and groups, is the primary work of certain white magician orders.

IN HONOR OF CAPRICORN, THE SEA GOAT
by Roy Neal
December 21 to January 21
The Sun enters the zodiac sign of Capricorn on December 21st.
This event begins the Winter Season and is known as the Winter Solstice. Capricorn is an earth sign and is ruled by the planet Saturn. Capricorns seek a goal, a purpose or an objective that will bring them an experience of fulfillment. Success can be defined differently according to the individual’s soul growth and consciousness.
The underlying desire for every Capricorn is to achieve. Achievement equals fulfillment. Sometimes the path to success is challenging and difficult. But the Capricorn soul gains strength through problem solving and overcoming challenges.
The Capricorn motto is: “Perseverance Furthers.”
Currently the planet Pluto is transiting the sign of Capricorn. Pluto is the planet of transformation. During the time while Pluto is transiting the sign of Capricorn we will undergo a major transformation of all governments, corporations, institutions, and other structures including the Earth itself.
This experience is not something to fear. This is a transformation that is necessary for the Earth, the consciousness of the people and all life to evolve and grow into its full potential.
