FEBRUARY ASTROLOGICAL UPDATE

by Marci McCaffery

2011 The Year of the Rabbit

February begins with the transiting Sun moving through the progressive energies of Aquarius. The New Moon on the 2nd reminds us to value our uniqueness and infuse innovation and excitement into our lives as we move through change. Unconventional solutions emerge. The Chinese New Year celebration on the following day represents The Year of the Rabbit, symbolized as the Goddess of death and rebirth. The goal for 2011 is to break down the old and rebuild the new. This is considered to be a respite year, following the intensity of 2010, the Year of the Tiger. The Rabbit desires for all to be right with the world. This is an omen, since the Rabbit is considered to be the luckiest sign according to Chinese legend.

In numerology, 2011, represents the master number 11, the most intuitive number of all, symbolizing illumination, self-mastery and vision. The number 22, (2+0+1+1=22) often called the master builder, represents a combination of vision and action. It provides us with the ability to turn dreams into reality. Our stability and personal power rests in our intuitive understanding of spiritual truths.

The Year of the Rabbit

This month’s cosmic view highlights Jupiter’s reentry through the bold, fiery, sign of Aries. We gain confidence in personal self-expression as we take risks to initiate new ventures. Impulsivity and bolstered egos, can create hasty beginnings and false starts. Avoid short cuts and self-centered pursuits. Extend efforts to impact the greater whole.

Venus, the Goddess of love, collides with Pluto, in the material sign of Capricorn around mid-month, posing potential relationship challenges. Mercury, the messenger of communication, shifts into Aquarius for a brief stay on the 3rd and then exchanges signs as it moves through Pisces on the 21st. Sensitivities are enhanced. Action-oriented Mars joins Mercury in Pisces the next day. What is noteworthy is that Mars is not happily placed in Pisces. This contrasting combination of Martian force and fuzzy, dreamlike energies tends to create an inefficient mix of frustration. Use intuition, imagination and inspiration to power forward. The full moon on the 18th at 29 degrees Leo represents a royal, benefic, Fixed Star, symbolizing the Lion’s heart. The Sabian interpretation for 29 degrees Leo indicates; A Mermaid Emerging From The Ocean Waves Ready For Rebirth In Human Form. We are reminded to remain heart-centered and follow our heart’s desire. Marci’s coaching services are available to guide you to bring your visions into visability. AUTHOR LECTURE AND BOOK SIGNING:

SETH DAVID CHERNOFF

SETH DAVID CHERNOFF, author of Manual for Living: Reality, A User’s Guide to the Meaning of Life.

Sunday, Feb 13, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm.

Can we achieve lasting happiness? Can we find fulfillment or obtain true love? What exactly is a spiritual life, an ispirational life, a fulfilled life? What really is possible in life? Can we have it all?

The Manual for Living is a user’s guide to the meaning of life; it is a guidebook to balance and connection, intimacy and relationship, peace and love, evolution and fulfillment. What we desire cannot be “obtained”, for it can only be experienced – the result of a life of commitment and service.

The Manual will help you find clarity and assist you with connecting to your inner guidance-thus opening the gateway to an intentional life-a chosen life that is joyful and fulfilled. Few people on Earth possess the answers to life’s simplest questions because in truth, answers are granted only to those with literacy in a language all their own.

In life, answers often result only in further inquiry; the meaning we seek is found in the journey itself.

Inquiry and curiosity become the lifeblood of the living–the keys to assist us in our personal journey. We stay the course, learning through our environment and life experiences, challenges and opportunities. An individual’s inquiry may actually safeguard against the very answers he or she seeks; the questions themselves being an indicator of the quasi-destination. We journey through the spiral of human evolution toward an existence of contemplation, verbalization, connection, contribution, service, fulfillment, and happiness.

The answer to life’s meaning is different for every one of us and dwells somewhere deep within the epicenter of our being. We are in control of our heart, mind, and soul, and therein resides the core truth of existence. In large part, we are all identical, sharing similar core needs, wants, and desires. Inevitably, we will struggle with the same core issues and challenges. The greatest commonality of all humanity is that of life itself and its finality.

The Manual’s purpose is to help you find true happiness, understand why you are here, and discover your true purpose in life. Challenge your beliefs and assumptions, and find your inner voice and truth in the process. Create the life you’ve always wanted by overcoming the obstacles before you, finding courage in the face of fear or adversity. Find the joy and magnificence in all things, and discover a new level of gratitude for everything that you have been given.  Learn how to be fully in the moment and to let go of everything that stands in your way. Ease your pain, suffering, and struggle while embracing and overcoming the lessons before you. Encounter true balance, eternal happiness, and a powerful connection to your source.  Learn to coexist and to function successfully on this physical plane without scarifying your spiritual core. Find true happiness on your path, and achieve everything you believe is possible.

The Manual is a practical guide to the hidden truths in life so you can better understand why we do what we do and live the way we live. Realize the basic truths to life and learn pearls of wisdom to guide your way. Understand the game of life and the role we play, individually and collectively, as physical and spiritual beings of service to the greater good of humankind. Discover answers to life’s most troubling questions and the meaning behind our eternal search. Allow yourself to fully experience your spiritual journey of enthusiastic selflessness and the pride in giving, focusing your attention and manifesting your reality through continuous evolution.

from Wikipedia–

Orgone energy is an idea which was initially proposed and promoted in the 1930s by psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich, who originated the term to describe a universal life force. Reich, originally part of Sigmund Freud’s Vienna circle, developed the therapeutic practice that would coalesce and create organization on all scales, from the smallest microscopic units – called bions in orgone theory – to macroscopic structures like organisms, clouds, or even galaxies.

Reich pursued his orgone energy research for more than a decade after immigrating to the US, publishing his own work through the Orgone Institute and producing orgone devices for distribution. The United States FDA brought an injunction barring the interstate distribution of orgone-related materials, on the charge that Reich and his associates were making false and misleading claims. Reich violated the injunction and was jailed. All of his orgone-related equipment and literature was destroyed by the FDA and the “legitimate” scientific community dismissed and discredited his work.

SACRED MOUNTAINS AND PYRAMIDS

by Bruce Johnson

Sacred Mountains are universal symbols of places where religious teachers and prophets participate in Divine Revelation. Allegorically, the cave of the Sacred Mountain corresponds to the Heart of God, as the upper portion of the mountain indicates the Mind of God. Jesus, Mohammed, Moses, and many others have all experienced inspiration on a Sacred Mountain. Sacred Mountains and pyramids are often combined with holy temples of study, worship, and Spiritual Initiation.

Sacred Mountains and pyramids represent the creative principle of nature as it expresses itself on all planes of the universe. The peak of the mountain, like the capstone of the pyramid, is the mystic link between heaven and earth, and is the spiritual source of all physical creation. Divine fire, or akasa, flows downward through six planes of life, becoming increasingly dense and concrete as it moves toward the base of the mountain or pyramid, which symbolizes the physical plane of life. The peak or capstone is the pole of spirit, unity, the soul, and the positive polarity. The base of the mountain or pyramid is the pole of matter, diversity, the human personality, and is negatively polarized.

Sacred Mountains and pyramids share common symbolism with the World Tree. All three are located at the” center of the world”, with the world- axis at their cores. This central axis always points to the Pole Star, around which the universe revolves. The mountain peak or capstone is identical to the root of the World Tree, while the body and base of the mountain or pyramid correspond to the tree’s many branches.

The caves of the Sacred Mountain and the chambers of a pyramid are both sites of the” second birth” and spiritual initiation. They are the wombs, like the alchemist’s furnace, where the lead of human consciousness is transformed to the gold of divine wisdom. The coffer in the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid was a type of baptismal fount where the purified initiate was born again into their God-Self. The Ancient Wisdom teaches that Jesus himself was initiated in the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid.
