I am not an ex
pert on crystals by any means. My Reiki Master first introduced me to crystals when she used them to help heal me. At first the stones were ice cold, and then became hot as the session went on. She also advised me to get some crystals, which led me to find the Shining Lotus Metaphysical Bookstore. In addition to getting the crystals, I found a treasure of spiritual resources including classes on metaphysical topics. So I guess you could say that the crystals led me to my studies of esoteric subjects.
I recently came across a beautiful stone that is not well known. Indigo Gabbro also know as “Mystic Merlinite” was featured on the website of a spiritual author who does weekly readings. I follow her because her themes are consistent with the concepts in my classes. She was very enthusiastic about it because of the power that it possesses. The name alone, “Mystic Merlinite”, infers magical powers. It is mined in Madagascar and is composed of Quartz, Feldspar, and other minerals. She went on to describe some of the wonderful energies found in this stone. It can be used for protection, balancing and centering one’s energies, cleansing and diffusing negative energies, and supporting you on your spiritual path. The low maintenance of this crystal is also very appealing. While other crystals have to be cleared of negative energies in order to be used again, Indigo Gabbro does not.
I did more research on the Internet on this stone, and found other magical powers that it has. It can be used for healing and can be used with other crystals. It also helps your intuition, and helps you to connect with your higher self. In addition to physical healing, it can also help you with your relationships and with your finances. It will expose and heal the dark parts of your life, so that you can move on with your spiritual development.
Both sources suggested meditating with Indigo Gabbro in order to experience its mystic capabilities. I bought a beautiful polished sphere at the bookstore, and have begun using it during my meditation. While I noticed a very calming effect that it had on me, I also felt a very positive force that made me feel very confident in any endeavors that I was about to commence. And this is just a start in working with this new wonderful crystal.
