And what if we could access these parts at will? Each of us not only can...we have the choice of doing so daily to improve the quality of our lives.

     In this group setting, we will become more readily acquainted with our inner children and learn how to communicate with him/her in ways that take us out of our limitations of being reluctant or even fearful of connecting and integrating this part of us. We will also see how our child affects our beliefs, our emotions, our decisions and reactions so we can make healthier decisions from our adult self in our communication with others at work and play, then choose healthier relationships, lifestyles, gain control of our insecurities and fears and create the lives we say we really want.

Norma Mitchell has worked as an Intuitive and Spiritual Counselor, Business Consultant, Hypno/Regression Therapist, Teacher and Medium for the past thirty plus years. Denise Linn at 2010 INATS

Yesterday I met Sacred Space author, Denise Linn. The Age of Miracles author, Marianne Williamson gave a very inspiring talk. James Twyman gave me a copy of his new book, The Barn Dance, about some tragic events in his life, we talked for a bit and then hugged like old friends. Louise Hay was hanging around her Hay House booth chatting with friends. I don't know how she does it, but Doreen Virtue seems to have her focus turned down a bit. You really have to look hard to see where she ends and the surroundings begin. We were very excited when Turtle Wisdom author and great friend, Donna DeNomme won the 2010 Best Kids/Teen Book Visionary award for Ophelia's Oracle.  I was also able to introduce our good buddy, Laura Lozano to one of her favorite authors, Denise Linn. That was cool. I think Justin had a really good time, too. He is so low-key, though, it is sometimes hard to tell.

Today is the last day I will spend at the trade show that has been going on all weekend. The best part of this whole big deal is the fact that it takes place here in Denver and we don't have to travel and stay in a hotel. This is the only trade show there is for our genre. We have met so many new people, re-connected with old friends and re-affirmed our connection with the huge community we are so proud to be serving as a metaphysical/new age bookstore and education center. It really makes one see that we are all together, and we will succeed and thrive only with each other's help.

What many people experience in life are choices we made to grow and learn before we took on our current body, personality and situation. Some believe we have to 'pay back‘ on a karmic balance sheet, while others accept we sometimes choose to experience 'opposite side of the coin‘ conditions rather than 'have to‘ do so. Since we have free will in each lifetime to choose whatever we want, even changing those pre-choices, each day we can make choices to live more joyfully and suc-cessfully through our understanding and acceptance of self and others through patience, compassion and love.

Through hypno/regression therapy, using relaxation techniques, we can deliberately re-experience earlier parts of our current life or others to release the effect of any trauma that is stored in our mind or the cells of our body.

This will be a monthly group where each person will have the opportunity to release any restrictions they wish. Since nothing happens by 'accident‘, those who are drawn to par-ticipate will normally find themselves in some of each others past lives. Tibetans will mark Losar - the Tibetan New Year - on February 14th, 2010. In the Tibetan lunar calendar, this day marks the beginning of the Iron Tiger Year 2137, a time for change, hope, and renewal.

Since 2008, following the Tibetan uprising in all three historical provinces of Tibet, there has been an escalation in the imprisonment, torture and death of Tibetan men and women under Chinese rule. Because of this, last year, Tibetans united around the world and did not celebrate Losar.

This year, many Tibetans are planning to observe Losar for one reason only: because they are Tibetan. They will strengthen their Tibetan identity and spirit by speaking Tibetan language, wearing Tibetan dress, and observing Tibetan custom. This observance will help the Tibetans find new courage and opportunities to advance the struggle. In observing Losar with family and friends, Tibetans will reach for happiness, which, as much as suffering, is an integral part of a freedom movement.

Through all these years of occupation one thing is clear: the oppressor envies the spirit of the Tibetan people, which cannot be crushed by violence. This year Tibetans worldwide will nourish this spirit with the observance of Losar.

While observing this important cultural tradition, Tibetans and supporters can light butter lamps and candles on their altars and in their windows on February 14th to honor the courage of the Tibetan people in Tibet who continue to resist the Chinese government's illegal occupation of their homeland.
